32 panels of cedar planks will feature artwork submitted by various and diverse Northern BC First Nations to complete their Nenachalhuya, cedar plank project. Cree/Dakelh artist Clayton Gauthier has been selected to create all the carvings.

Red Dress Society holds 4th annual stand-in event

Sunday marked the fourth annual stand-in event for the Prince George Red Dress Society. The event aims to raise awareness about the murdered and missing Indigenous women along the Highway of Tears.

Over $13,000 raised from this year’s Parkinson’s Superwalk

The Parkinson’s Superwalk took place on Saturday at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park. Parkinson’s is a neurodegenerative disease which affects the bodies motion. This year the local group raised $13,208 for the Parkinson Society of B.C.

Old Dominion play at CN Centre in 2020 tour

Country fans can rejoice as the acclaimed Country Music Award of the year and two-time Academy of Country Music Award Old Dominion are coming to the CN Centre. Dominion will perform in PG on February 10th, tickets will be available this Friday.
