Johnny Reid Returns for a Special Christmas Show
Best-selling country artist Johnny Reid is returning to Prince George with a special Christmas show this December.
Reid is a two-time Canadian Country Music Award winner for Male Artist of the Year and a four-time Juno Award winner. The Scotland-born singer songwriter has released 11 studio albums, the first of which, “Another Day, Another Dime” was released in 1997 when Reid was 23 years old. Reid moved to Canada from Scotland with his family when he was 13 years old and he currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and children.
Reid will release his EP “My Kind of Christmas” on October 25th. He is no stranger to Christmas music as he has already released two Christmas-themed studio albums in 2009 and 2013. The lead single “My Kind of Christmas” is available now and can be streamed on Reid’s website. The EP will include both original songs and some of Reid’s interpretations of Christmas classics.
His tour supporting the new EP will take him across Canada, playing 23 shows from November 16th to December 14th. Reid’s Prince George show will take place December 11th at the CN Centre. Reid has played in Prince George twice in the past four years and his energetic performances are always well received by his PG fanbase.
