Fire training rescheduled for this week at YXS

Fire training scheduled to take place at YXS has been moved around due to mother nature.

The airport will now hold fire training Oct 28-31, weather permitting.

The rescheduling of the fire training was due to weather conditions.

YXS would like to remind the public that these fires pose no threat to the public or surrounding areas.

These fires are held in self-contained training facilities under controlled circumstances and are part of ongoing recurrent fire training and certification.
