Stolen vehicle found containing crystal meth and cocaine

CHETWYND– Chetwynd front line officers located a stolen vehicle from Prince George containing crystal meth and cocaine.

On January 4th, police found the stolen vehicle in the parking lot of a local convenience store. Three men were in the vehicle at the time and police arrested them without incident.

Upon further investigation, RCMP found a large quantity of what they suspected to be crystal meth and cocaine.

Chetwynd RCMP will be submitting a report to the BC Prosecution Services recommending charges of possession of stolen property, breach of probation, and possession of a controlled substance.

All three men are from Prince George are and are known to police; they have since been released from custody, pending a future court date. Anyone with information is asked to contact Chetwynd RCMP ar 250-788-9221 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
