RCMP see increased calls in at-home mechanic injury calls

Prince George – For many, the home is a safe place to be. Though a number of serious safety hazards lurk around the average home.

One of these hazards is a growing concern with RCMP as they find a growing trend in responding to residents injured while working on their own vehicles.

Recently, RCMP responded to a call at a home, where a resident had been injured while working on their vehicle.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the first call related to at-home mechanics this year. RCMP recommends having a qualified mechanic work on those complicated parts of the vehicle that could put you or others in harm’s way.
