PRINCE GEORGE — An 84-year-old man from Prince George is dead following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 97 just south of McLeese Lake.

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says the crash occurred at around 9:30 last night.

“A northbound Honda CR-V crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a Ford F350 pulling a cargo box trailer,” she says. “The owner of the Honda, an 84-year-old man from Prince George was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger in the Honda and the driver of the Ford were taken to hospital with minor injuries.”
