Federal Green Party candidate running in provincial election

PRINCE GEORGE – The BC Green Party has announced that Mackenzie Kerr will be running for the Prince George-Valemount riding.

Kerr, a 23-year-old university student, was named along with several other candidates in a BC Green Party news release over the weekend. Kerr previously ran for the federal Green Party in 2019.

Kerr says, “I was excited to run for the BC Greens again. Unfortunately, I was hoping the election would be next year, but it is what it is, so we’re ready to go.”

Regarding the sudden launch into a provincial election, Kerr says, “everything will be finalized in the next week or so. We were kind of thrown into it, but for now, my main priorities won’t change from last year.”
