PRINCE GEORGE—Local food lovers there’s a way for you enjoy a delicious home cooked meal and give back to the community.

Food Network’s Bob Blumer is returning to PG for a one-of-a-kind, virtual, in-home cook-along fundraiser for the PG Hospice Society.

“Fundraising for non-profits has been exceptionally challenging this year, and this evening will prove to be delicious and fun for all those involved!” —Donna Flood, Executive Director, PG Hospice

The event, on Oct.25th, will see Blumer Zoom into local’s kitchen’s and help attendees prepare two recipes—an appetizer and a main—from his newest cookbook. Participants will receive a box of ingredients from Birch and Boar prior to the event.

The boxes will also include a snack and a dessert, along with a copy of Blumer’s cookbook, Flavorbomb. Wine pairings will also be available featuring a selection of wines from the Naramata Bench Wineries Association.

“We have partnered with Bob [Blumer] and PG Hospice for some time now to help raise money for this exceptional facility and also highlight the world-class restaurants we have in Prince George. We are excited to pivot into something this appetizing while continuing to support the community.” —Norm Coyne, partner, UNLTD Media

Tickets for the event are $100 each and will be available on Theatre Northwest’s website on Friday Oct.9. 100 per cent of the proceeds will go towards PG Hospice.
