Aberdeen Glen set to close for season following extremely busy 2020

As the temperature gets colder and the days get shorter it marks the end of golf season in the City of Prince George.

For Aberdeen Glen Golf Course they will close following Thanksgiving long weekend and are hoping for a great final couple of days on the links.

“It was definitely a challenging year,” shared Director of golf at Aberdeen Glen Ian Wrynn

“Our biggest challenge wasn’t being able to host any golf tournaments this year. Under the current guidelines we just didn’t think we would be able to hold one safely.”

However, the club’s numbers were up pretty much across the board by around 30%, which offset not being able to hold any tournaments.

Despite the challenging times in 2020 though, Wrynn feels the year will help rejuvenate the game of golf and hopes that momentum can continue into next year.
