How does your party plan to address the issue of climate change?

Climate change is a complex problem. The CHPBC support policy and technology change not massive social upheaval.

How would you address the challenges facing some Aboriginal communities across our region?

Move towards private ownership on Aboriginal land. Aboriginal representation in the legislative assembly. Phase out the Indian Act.

What’s your stance on the development of pipelines?

Pipelines are currently the best way we have to move resources to market.

How would your party address the spike in violent crime in Prince George?

Drugs and gangs are the cause of most of this crime and that is where we need to approach this problem. Do not support “Defunding the police.”

Has the provincial government done a good job at handling the COVID-19 crisis? If not, how would you or your party manage it differently?

Mixed messages, and inconsistent policies have led to a lot of confusion and unneeded stress about Covid 19. Masks, while useful in some situations, are not some magic bullet that will prevent the spread of viruses.

Proper quarantine measures, truthful, unbiased, non-political reporting of statistics about Covid 19. We should rely on Canadian expertise and develop made in Canada solutions.

What would you do to help seniors?

We believe that Seniors are a valuable and integral part of our community and the stability of our family structure. The CHPBC wants to implement policies that strengthen families.

How would you address the opioid crisis in Northern BC?

Education, law enforcement, Treatment Centres.

Where in the riding do you live? Why? What are your favourite places to spend time in?

I live in Prince George. Local lakes in the canoe, Provincial Forestry Rec Sites
