Early snowfall helps season prep for Hart Ski Hill

While last year did prove to be promising, even despite the pandemic, in allowing for the hill to be opened for over 100 days of the season, precautions will be in place ahead of what they anticipate to be yet another good year.

“I think as we learned this summer, people are looking for something to do, so I think our numbers will be even better,” said Johnson, believing the close proximity to the hill for residents will allow for it to be a hot destination when the conditions get cold.

In terms of precautions in place for whenever that first day of the season is, the lift line on the hill has been changed in order to allow adequate space for social distancing. Masks/face coverings will be required on the hill at all times. And the flow of the lodge has also been altered.

Pre-season passes (Adult – $209) are still available up until the end of the month before they increase to the regular season-long pricing (Adult – $229). 50-50 tickets are also being sold ($10 each), which are in replacement of their usual fall fundraiser. Those who buy tickets have the chance of winning up to $10,000.
