Snowfall warning issued for Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Prince George.
Five to 10 centimetres is expected today with wind gusts to 50 kilometres per hour and highs to zero.
“A strong frontal system moving in from the Pacific will move over central British Columbia and bring widespread snow for today. Snow will begin early this morning and continue throughout the day,” says Environment Canada.
“Total snowfall accumulations of 10 cm can be expected in the Stuart-Nechako, Prince George and Cariboo-North regions before the system departs further into southeastern British Columbia this evening.”
