COVID-19 forces postponement of ‘Light Up the Orchard’

PRINCE GEORGE —Light Up the Orchard has been postponed due to COVID-19.

Northern Lights Estate Winery confirmed the news on their Facebook page today.

“We have been in contact with Northern Health, and they have made the decision to postpone Light Up the Orchard until further notice,” the post reads.

“We know this is disappointing for many but during this time it is important for everyone to do their part to try and reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect each other.”

Although you cannot walk through the lights, the winery says the lights will still be turned on every night from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Tickets purchased until December 7 will automatically be refunded minus the platform fees and each person will receive a phone call to inform them. Tickets purchased for after December 7 will be held until the winery receives further information about the provincial health order.
