Prince George man wins $50K playing Scratch & Win

PRINCE GEORGE — A Prince George man is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning Casino Royale II Scratch & Win ticket.

Douglas Van Dyke bought the ticket at the PG Grocery Express on Strathcona Avenue.

He says he has few plans for the money other than to buy a guitar and an amp.

“My mind was blank, I was in a little bit of shock when I realized I as a winner,” he says. “I’m ecstatic and it feels awesome.”
