Northern Health lifting COVID-19 outbreak protocols at Dawson Creek care home
DAWSON CREEK –With the exposure risk being classified as “passed” for much of the facility, Northern Health is readying to lift COVID-19 outbreak protocols for all but one unit at Rotary Manor in Dawson Creek.
According to the health authority, there have been a total of nine confirmed resident cases of the coronavirus, and four staff cases.
Two residents have passed away since the outbreak was declared back on Nov. 2.
Since that date, a number of enhanced control measures have been in place throughout Rotary Manor, including cleaning and infection controls, visiting restrictions and staff and resident screening.
