Curbside glass recycle starts

PRINCE GEORGE – Starting today glass bottles and jars can be recycled at curbside in grey glass boxes in the City of Prince George.

A few weeks ago each household in the City received a new grey box for glass collection, which residents can fill with unwanted glass.

The new program rolled out today will help reduce the number of recyclable materials going to landfills by offering access to glass recycling at the curb.
