‘We’re just so grateful’: Artist thanks Coldsnap Music Fest
PRINCE GEORGE – This year has been anything but easy for musicians and artists who have had countless gigs cancelled because of COVID-19 and the restrictions which have come with it.
Rachelle van Zanten is just one of many who have seen their industry essentially grind to a halt, especially in the touring department.
“Luckily six years ago I had a Coldsnap baby,” joked van Zenten. “I don’t tour as much as some of the other artists I know, but when I’m up on stage I can’t help but think of all my buddies across the world.”
Van Zenten is just one of a few artists in town as part of the annual Coldsnap Music Festival, while others from outside the region submitted pre-produced videos from wherever they are because of travel restrictions.
