Stolen hockey cards recovered

PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties are thanking a “sharp-eyed member of the public” for helping police recover some stolen hockey cards.

As CKPG reported earlier this week, the “high end” cards were stolen from the HSBC building the morning of February 8.

“At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Feb 10, an anonymous caller contacted the Prince George RCMP to report there was a male in a parking lot near 2nd Avenue and George Street who appeared to be looking at some hockey cards. The caller was concerned that they might be the cards stolen from a local business,” says Prince George RCMP Cst. Jennifer Cooper.
