RCMP arrest break and enter suspect

PRINCE GEORGE — A suspect has been arrested in relation to a string of break and enters earlier this week downtown.

As CKPG Today reported earlier this week, they occurred Monday and Tuesday mornings.

The suspect or suspects got away with multiple items, including $10,000 worth of vintage coins from the HSBC building.

Police say 40-year-old Alan Nigh has been charged with one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.

RCMP say he was arrested last night (Feb.11) near the 800 block of Canada Games Way after a police officer noticed a male in similar clothing to that worn by a suspect on surveillance footage from several recent break-and-enters.

At this time, it is unknown whether Nigh will be released or held in custody.
