Weekend snowfall warning issued for Pine Pass

PRINCE GEORGE — Drivers in the Williston area are being told to take caution this weekend, with a snowfall warning in effect for Highway 97- Pine Pass.

Environment Canada says snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected by tomorrow (Feb. 28).

Snow over Dease Lake will spread to Williston this afternoon and hit the Cariboo by this evening, before easing up Sunday morning.

Motorists are advised to check conditions on Drive BC’s website before heading out.
