PRINCE GEORGE — Ken Hall is the new executive director of the Prince George Symphony Orchestra.

Hall replaces outgoing general manager Teresa Saunders and starts his new position May 1.

Hall comes to Prince George after spending the past 16 years with the Canadian Children’s Opera Company in Toronto, the last five years of which he was managing director.

The PGSO says the hiring of Hall follows a five month search.

Saunders says the highlight of her five year tenure has been the partnership with Maestro Michael Hall (no relation to Ken Hall) over the past four years.

“Our Maestro is an extremely gifted and collaborative Music Director and it has been a pleasure working with him to advance his exciting musical vision for the PGSO. I am confident that “Hall and Hall” will be an excellent senior management team and continue to provide strong leadership to the organization.”
