Election day for the Lheidli T’enneh

PRINCE GEORGE – Today is election day for the Lheidli T’enneh community. Over 400 people are eligible to vote in this year’s bi-annual election.

The community will be voting to elect one chief, five councillors, and three lands authority committee members.

Incumbent Chief Clayton Pountney, Jason Gillis, and Dolleen Logan are running for chief, while former chief Dominic Frederick is running for a councillor’s position.

The polls close tonight at 8 pm.
