Carhop is back in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE – It’s a parking lot patio on wheels at the Westwood Public House, as the hospitality sector grapples with an extension to the ban on indoor dining.

This is not the first time the service has been provided here, the last time the carhop platters were used was merely a year ago when the idea from the 20th century was reborn.

A full menu is available for those utilizing the drive-in service.

“It’s the best beef dip in town,” said one man taking advantage of the meal on wheels on Wednesday.

Carhop is available until the indoor dining ban is lifted, between 12 pm and 8 pm.

Coole said his pub also has an application into Victoria to add picnic tables, a special application was needed based on their location and status as a pub.
