Latest B.C. COVID-19 modelling data raises concerns for jump in cases
PRINCE GEORGE – BC Health Officials have released the latest data surrounding details on how COVID-19 transmission is being driven.
Health officials warned that if the number of contacts is not reduced by British Columbians, case counts could grow exponentially reaching over 3,000 cases a day.
All age groups have seen a rise in virus case numbers except for those aged 80 and older, with those between the ages of 40 to 59 seeing the biggest spike in hospitalizations.
