PRINCE GEORGE – The idea was first thought of by the B.C. Resources Coalition (BCRC), a similar model to ‘Operation Red-Nose’ now being used to help four downtown restaurants have their food delivered on Saturday.

BCRC members will be volunteering their time on Saturday, to lending a helping hand to North 54, White Goose Bistro, The Firm, and Trench Brewing offer customers the incentive of free delivery.

Any tips collected along the way will be donated back to the restaurant and its staff.

“We felt bad for the restaurant sector and we wanted to help,” said Clint Chappell, Director for the BCRC.

All four restaurants that are getting help with free delivery services do not have patios and are forced to adjust with take-out or delivery options.

You can participate by contacting the restaurant from which you wish to order on Saturday, take out options will remain an option for those participating if you prefer to pick up your meal.
