2021 Paving plan laid out

PRINCE GEORGR – The City has set out this year’s plans for roads and sidewalks.The City’s budget of 5.8 million dollars will pay for 38 road re-surfacing projects and another 700-thousand dollars will be spent on five sidewalk rehabilitation projects.
For comparison, paving one lane of road along the most direct route from College Heights Secondary to Shas Ti Kelly Road Secondary would take about 18 lane kilometres.
The longest paving project his year will be 4.3 kilometres along Northwood Pulp Mill Road. Some other notables, though, will be Upper Patricia Boulevard from Queensway to Taylor Drive and Ospika Boulevard from Davis to Range Road.
The most significant sidewalk project will be along 20th from Queensway to Maple Street.
