Cats suffer a 4-1 setback in Kamloops

Kamloops- The Prince George Cougars lost their third straight game, a 4-1 setback to the Kamloops Blazers Thursday night at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops.

The Cougars (4-6-1-1) led 1-0 after 20 minutes and carried that lead into the final minute of the second period, before the Blazers (9-2-0-0) tied it. Kamloops went on to score three more times in the third period for their fourth win against Prince George this season.

Connor Bowie scored the Cougars’ lone goal with just 30-seconds left in the opening period. Taylor Gauthier was tagged with the loss after turning aside 27 of 31 shots.
