PRINCE GEORGE – Many small businesses across Canada have felt the economic pinch during the pandemic – including campground operators.

Recently the Canadian Camping and RV Council met with the federal government to discuss the recovery measures needed to support the RV and camping industry post-crisis.

And one local campsite owner says there is a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel – Blue Cedars RV Park and Campground.

The RV Park expects future campers to visit the region for shopping and medical appointments and welcomes any support the federal government can provide.

According to the Canadian camping and RV council, over 4200 campgrounds are operating across Canada.
