Family and friends gather to mourn lives lost and those injured in workplace-related incidents
PRINCE GEORGE—Today marks the National Day of Mourning in Canada where people pay respects to those who lost their lives and were injured in the workplace.
Following health orders, less than six people attended a wreath laying ceremony and held a moment of silence at the Worker’s Memorial Statue near Patricia Boulevard and Queensway.
The pandemic has forced many people to be aware of their health and safety in the workplace environment. But the virus isn’t the only hazard in the workplace.
