PRINCE GEORGE — The 6th annual climb for cancer fundraiser will be going ahead in 2021, but not in April as it usually does due to the pandemic.
Organizers say it will happen later this year in a revised format. Last year, the event was held over four days in August and raised almost $40,000 for the Kordyban Lodge.
Over five years, the event has raised $207,000. The funds have been used to pay for the annual costs associated with operating the lodge, which serves as a hom- away-from-home for cancer patients from the region receiving treatment for cancer at the BC Cancer Centre for the North.
