IIO concludes Landsowne Rd investigation

PRINCE GEORGE — The Independent Investigations Office (IIO) has concluded its investigation into an incident in Prince George that took place on January 18, 2021.

On that day, the IIO say police responded to a residence in the 3700-block of Lansdowne Road following a 911 call. When police arrived at the home, an altercation reportedly occurred, and a man and woman both sustained minor injuries.

The IIO was advised of the incident on April 1, 2021 and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
