Province gives post-secondary primer

PRINCE GEORGE – With the Province handing out a primer for a return to classes, the administrations for both local post-secondary institutions have started to look at what that return to class will look like a year after holding classes online.

“The landscape of higher education is going to change,” says Dr. Geoff Payne, Interim President of UNBC. “So we’re looking at the feedback. What the faculty liked, what the students liked. We can build on that.”

By the very nature of its course offering, the College of New Caledonia had to offer some in-person classes. But President Dennis Johnson says they will be consulting with the Faculty Association as well as CUPE to assess how classes should be provided in September.
