Local mom is excited to have her 14-year old son vaccinated as soon as possible
PRINCE GEORGE — There’s hope for one Prince George mom and her son after Health Canada announced that the Pfizer vaccine would become available for kids aged 12 to 15. Robyn Beauregard’s 14 year old son, Everett, has type 1 diabetes.
Due to his age, he wasn’t able to get the COVID-19 vaccine back in March when the province moved those who have the autoimmune disease into a priority group.
“It’s been a long time since we’ve seen lots of our family or done anything social with friends so we can’t wait.” said Everett.
