PRINCE GEORGE – The Rotary Soccer fields have been deserted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing some birds to move in.

Scientists believe the slowdown of human activity allows nesting osprey a chance to return to an area they once called home.

According to Biologist Dr. Ken Otter, some animals have returned to their traditional behaviours as the health restrictions continue.
