RCMP call in the bomb squad to deal with Pine Street incident

PRINCE GEORGE — Police remain on the scene at the 2500 block of Pine Street.

At 8:20 this morning, police discovered a suspicious object, prompting the RCMP to call in the Explosives Disposal Unit.

To ensure public safety, police have evacuated nearby residents from their homes and have restricted access to the location.
