IWAU looks for Council help

PRINCE GEORGE – Organizers of Inspiring Women Among Us are hoping a recent visit before Council inspired the City to come forward with more consistent funding for their annual event.

“Having some level of known, continuous funding for, say, three to five years would really be a game-changer,” says Zoe Meletis, Co-Organizer of the event.

The first IWAU event took place in 2015 but will have to be virtual again this year because of COVID. Meletis says the event has been somewhat virtual since the beginning, but there is a real opportunity to expand on that and grow the event even more.
