RCMP discharges firearm, one suspect in hospital

PRINCE GEORGE – Shortly before 7:00 a.m. this morning, a frontline officer of the Prince George RCMP was conducting an investigation in the area of 15th Avenue and Victoria Street in Prince George.

In the midst of the investigation, a physical altercation ensued between the officer and a male suspect.

During the altercation, the officer discharged his firearm. The male suspect was transported to hospital via BC Ambulance, with serious injuries.
