PRINCE GEORGE – Thanks to funding from Telus StoryHive, he was able to create the story “How love can move mountains”.

A look back in history from the “Vintage Diary” a story of the pioneers of Prince George’s past. Zeus Helios is the movie’s creator, he says the idea originally came up, after watching ‘The Price is Right’. They were giving away a trip to Prince George on the show and there was a lot of negativity online. Helios wanted to show people the beauty behind our little City.

” I just know, people are putting the city down and they have a negative point of view,” said Zeus Helios, Director of The Vintage Diary. “But I wanted to show the beautiful side of the city, rather than concentrate on the negative side as everybody does, there’s a lot here to do and there’s a lot of amazing people here.”

Telus STORYHIVE funded the twenty-six-minute fictional, narrative documentary. They also gathered help from many groups and organizations around Prince George. Two of the biggest sponsors were, Central B.C. Railway & The Forestry Museum.

The Vintage Diary will air on June 29 on the Telus STORYHIVE Youtube page, as well as Telus Optik.

There are plans to expand this documentary into a series.
