Structure fire in College Heights

PRINCE GEORGE —Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a residential structure fire on the 6000 block of Simon Fraser Drive at around 5 this morning.

Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the exterior and attic space of the home. The home’s occupants escaped without injury.

The fire was quickly extinguished with damages estimated at $25,000. The cause is under investigation.
