Just one new case of COVID-19 over the weekend in northern B.C.

VICTORIA — Eighty-seven new cases of COVID-19 in British Columbia over the weekend, including just one up north.

There are now 34 active cases of the virus in the Northern Health region, 652 provincially.

As for vaccinations, 78 per cent of eligible people 12 and older have received their first dose of a covid-19 vaccine while 36 per cent have received their second dose.
