Downtown power outage following collision

PRINCE GEORGE —Update: Power has been restored to all but five customers.

Earlier: Hundreds of BC Hydro customers are without power following a collision late this morning.

It occurred across from the court house at around 11:15 a.m. when a tractor trailer collided with a power pole.

A total of 316 BC Hydro customers are currently without power. A hydro crew is currently on scene checking to see if they can move affected customers to a different circuit while they work on repairing the pole.
