Community pantry opens up outside of local church
PRINCE GEORGE–There’s a new community pantry outside of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.
It’s not the first time the church has done this, but now they’ve set up a fridge and a cabinet that’s stocked up with food.
Fresh food such as eggs and milk are available, along with non-perishables like pasta and canned soup. People who need food can take what the need and leave what they can. The church is also accepting donations.
The pantry is going to be open through August but may extend it to the fall and winter months depending how well it does.
