Float plane crashes in Fraser River near pulp mills

PRINCE GEORGE — Police are on scene between the Shelly Bridge and the Fraser River Bridge on the Fraser River investigating a report that a float plane has crashed into the water.

RCMP say initial reports are that two people are on board but are doing ok.

Multiple agencies responded including RCMP and PG Fire Rescue.

Police say the crash occurred at around 3:30 this afternoon. No word on what caused it.
