Suspicious fire guts tattoo shop

PRINCE GEORGE — An early morning fire has destroyed a tattoo shop.

Prince George Fire Rescue say crews responded to the fire on the 1600 block of 20th Avenue at 6:30 a.m. today.

“Initially six apparatus with 19 firefighters responded and on arrival found smoke coming from the eaves of the adjacent units. Crews made a quick attack of the fire and used fan pressurization to prevent the fire from spreading to the rest of the mall,” says Assistant Chief Dan Pears.

He says crews remained on scene for about three hours adding there were no injuries.
