The “Bike Project” – A community working together
PRINCE GEORGE – In a world that has felt a wave of negativity, especially in the last 18 months, it’s a nice change of pace to hear about random acts of kindness, and Prince George is definitely one of those communities that go above and beyond.
David Mothus, Don Willimont, and Marianne Koops worked together, to help a local boy out after his bike was stolen from him. However, the young man and his father had a plan, so they decided to pay it forward.
“The bike project was supposed to just be one. We tried to give a bike to a kid whose bike was stolen,” said David Mothus, co-creator of the “Bike Project.”
