Best Damn Music Festival not affected by recent health restrictions, however other big events will be
PRINCE GEORGE– Some events might have to adapt and overcome new health restrictions after Bonnie Henry announced a proof of vaccination starting September 13th as well as mandatory masks in all indoor public spaces.
One of the events upcoming that won’t be affected as much is The Best Damn Music Festival. The festival won’t require mandatory vaccines or force mandatory masks. A big reason why is because the event is being held outdoors and mandatory vaccines don’t kick in until September 13th. However, that doesn’t mean they won’t be taking safety precautions at all.
There will be an on-site vaccine clinic during the festival, as well as many handwashing and hand sanitizer stations. Event Promoter Kyle Sampson says the great thing about this festival is people have choices.
