Festival of Trees – A Home Grown Christmas

PRINCE GEORGE – The Festival of Trees is back in person!

Last year, the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation moved the fundraiser online because of COVID. But this year, the event will be an in-person experience, but in a more down-to-earth manner. In fact, the theme this year is “Festival of Trees – a Home Grown Christmas.”

“There have been a lot of questions following last year’s Festival of Trees that was reimagined beyond what we thought was possible as to whether or not we would be proceeding once again this year. The truth is we can’t see it not moving ahead – hopefully in a more traditional way, but definitely in some fashion,” says Judy Neiser, CEO for the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

Northern Health is currently occupying the Conference and Civic Centre for vaccinations, but the Foundation has been working closely with the City and Northern Health to ensure the trees can occupy their usual location.
