International Overdose Awareness Day sparks candlelight vigil tonight for victims

PRINCE GEORGE– The Prince George Hospice Society is teaming up with multiple organizations to host a vigil for all the overdose victims next to Mr.PG.

If you drive by the famous landmark you will see over 200 white crosses to represent all the victims who have died because of an overdose. The crosses which were put up by the Hospice Hearts are to show that the deaths aren’t just a number and that each life lost represents someone who was loved.

We want to put a face behind someone going oh look there are 200 crosses. Every single one of those crosses has Broken some family’s heart. -Corrine Woods Hospice Hearts
