COVID-19 outbreak at Jubilee Lodge

PRINCE GEORGE — Northern Health has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at Jubilee Lodge in Prince George.

At the time of the outbreak declaration, Northern Health says testing has identified six patients and one staff who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Northern Health Public Health is closely monitoring for additional cases, and the facility is taking steps to protect the health of staff and those they care for, with enhanced outbreak precautions such as (but not limited to):

• Increased frequency of cleaning and infection control measures
• Enhanced symptom monitoring among all staff and patients
• Reducing movement of staff and patients in the facility
• Temporary suspension of social visits (essential visits are not impacted, and can continue)
