City needs you to complete housing survey

PRINCE GEORGE—The city is asking residents to complete a survey that will help tackle housing needs.

The Housing Needs Assessment is part of a requirement for local governments. Starting next year, housing needs reports will need to be filled out every five years.

The report helps find gaps in housing and figure out what areas people are struggling in. This includes homelessness and affordable housing.

Agencies such as social services and First Nations organizations will also be included as focus groups to get more insight into the housing needs in Prince George.
